Sunday Night Digest 12/21/25

Sunday Night Digest 12/21/25

Digest = me + a possible glass of wine + reflection the previous weeks ongoings and a glimpse into future happenings. You're Welcome.

Madeline Guimond

I'm writing to you from the quiet side of what has been the most beautiful, full-hearted week. The Winter Light Auction closed, last night our holiday celebration brought together so many people I love most, and now there's just enough space to take a deep breath before Christmas arrives.

If you've been following along, you know the auction was everything I hoped it would be. Watching pieces find their homes, seeing collectors connect with work that spoke to them, feeling that particular energy when something magical is unfolding in real time, it is forever inspiring. Thank you to everyone who participated, whether you were in the room or bidding from afar. Your enthusiasm and trust in this process means everything. And an enormous thank you to Brendan Dyer for introducing a few works to get things started during our live auction and to Madeline Guimond for capturing it all. This was a real dream team ensemble and made the Winter Light Auction simply glow.

A Week of Celebration

Beyond the auction, we gathered last night to celebrate two people who've shaped my world in profound ways: Patti's 75th birthday and Michael's 42nd. And yes we were missing Heidi for hers, but with kidney transplant recovery comes a lot of down time and she had to sit this one out. She was missed!

There's something about marking these milestones together, surrounded by beauty and laughter and the people who make life feel abundant, that reminds me why we do any of this.

The whole evening was full of warmth, conversation, and that particular kind of joy that only comes from being exactly where you're meant to be, with exactly who you're meant to be with.

This Week Ahead

Now we settle into the days before Christmas, last-minute gifts, time with loved ones, those quiet moments that feel stolen from the usual rush. I'm taking a few days to simply be present, to enjoy the season without agenda, to let the year close gently rather than frantically.

Later this week, I'll be sharing some news about what's coming in the new year and a note on closing up a particular chapter before the year ends. But for now, I'm savoring this pause between what was and what's next.

A Thought for Sunday Night

As this week unfolds, I hope you'll give yourself permission to move slowly. To say no to obligations that don't serve you. To choose presence over productivity. To let Christmas week be what it wants to be, whether that's festive and social or quiet and restorative.

We've earned this moment of rest. Let's take it.

Here's to the week ahead, to celebrations behind us, and to whatever magic awaits on the other side of Christmas.

With so much warmth and gratitude, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
Kristen

P.S. - If you're still looking for last-minute gifts, a few pieces from the auction remain available. Sometimes the perfect thing appears exactly when you need it.
