Kristen Coates works across art, interiors, and creative direction, shaping spaces that feel considered, personal, and quietly inevitable.

Her approach is rooted in a deep understanding of color, composition, and how art lives within a space. Each project is guided by sensitivity to place, scale, and narrative, resulting in interiors that feel grounded, expansive, and deeply personal.

Kristen works with a small number of clients each year on commissioned paintings, art placement, interior curation, and the sourcing of exceptional objects, collaborations that are intentionally paced and often long-term.

Recent work includes Pen Craig Cottage, a historic Newport property featured in Architectural Digest Poland and Elle Croatia.
