Fields of Vivid Love is an exploration of joy through color. Built from confident, overlapping brushstrokes, the painting embraces bold saturation without sacrificing softness, allowing passages of brilliant pink, cobalt, turquoise, emerald, and lemon yellow to collide in unexpected harmony.
Although entirely abstract, the composition suggests a landscape remembered through emotion rather than observation. Layers of color drift across the canvas like gardens in bloom, reflections on water, or fleeting moments from a summer afternoon. Every brushstroke remains visible, preserving the movement of the painting's creation and allowing the viewer to experience the energy behind each decision.
Part of my newest body of work, this painting reflects an ongoing investigation into how color alone can communicate optimism, vitality, and connection. Rather than describing a place, it invites the viewer to inhabit a feeling, one that is expansive, hopeful, and unmistakably alive.
