On Island explores the balance between structure and spontaneity. Bold geometric forms, saturated pinks, brilliant yellows, deep cobalt blues, and soft aquas are arranged around a strong vertical axis, creating a composition that feels both ordered and alive.

The painting borrows its rhythm from architecture as much as landscape. Shapes overlap and echo one another while color does the emotional work, bright, optimistic, and unmistakably coastal. There is a clarity to the composition that allows each form to breathe without sacrificing energy.

Painted as part of my 2026 collection, On Island reflects an ongoing exploration of place, not through literal depiction, but through color, light, and the feeling of arriving somewhere that immediately feels familiar.

Its intimate scale makes it equally compelling on its own, layered into a salon wall, or placed where a single work can bring warmth and optimism to a space.
