This piece in my Confetti Series is an exploration into adding even more interest with added abstraction and mixed media in the sub painting and incorporated into the fabric of the painted confetti layers. When I break down the rules of a process I’m comfortable with and try new ideas in my work, I find I enjoy the entire piece on a whole new level, not unlike finding silver linings.
