I love this vintage Cinzano advertising ashtray in glossy white ceramic with bold red, cobalt blue, and white graphics.
Once a familiar sight on café and bar tables throughout Italy, branded ashtrays like this have become wonderful little artifacts of European drinking and aperitivo culture. I love it less as smoking paraphernalia and more as a graphic object, a tiny piece of Italian hospitality history that happens to look incredibly good on a table.
Use it as originally intended, or give it a second life holding matches, cocktail picks, olives, jewelry, or absolutely nothing at all. I would happily leave it sitting on a stack of books simply for the typography.
