Tulips have always felt like a promise of renewal—the first true indication that a season has shifted and something new is beginning.
In Coral Tulips, the flowers are suggested rather than rendered literally. Loose, gestural petals move across a field of sky blue, soft peach, and warm coral, allowing color and movement to carry the feeling of the blooms. Clay-toned brushwork creates rhythm across the surface while lighter passages introduce air, light, and space.
The composition feels both structured and spontaneous, as if a cluster of tulips has been caught mid-motion in a warm spring breeze. More than a study of flowers, this painting explores optimism, renewal, and the emotional energy of color itself.
