Viewed from above, Gooseberry Beach celebrates the quiet choreography of a summer day along the Rhode Island coast. Beach umbrellas, towels, swimmers, and shoreline become abstract shapes, revealing patterns that often go unnoticed from the ground.

Michael J. Paddon's photographs invite us to see familiar places differently. His aerial perspective transforms the ordinary into something graphic and unexpectedly beautiful, celebrating the rhythm of coastal life through composition, light, and color.
