Kristen Coates is an artist, curator, and creative director based in Newport, Rhode Island. She is the founder of her eponymous gallery, a living studio that brings together original artwork, interiors, and thoughtful curation.

Her abstract paintings are informed by travel, color theory, and a long-standing interest in how art lives within a space. Alongside her studio practice, Kristen works closely with collectors and clients, pairing artwork and interiors with a deep sensitivity to place, context, and personal narrative.
