A Moment In The Sun moves into warmer terrain, saturated ochre, coral, and terracotta layered with sweeping passages of white and punctuated by dark, almost calligraphic marks.
This piece was an experiment in heat and compression. The palette arrived first, unapologetically bright, and the composition followed in broad, confident strokes. The darker linear elements cut through the warmth, creating contrast and rhythm rather than decoration. It marks a subtle shift within the Current Collection, a willingness to flatten space, intensify color, and let the work hold more light.
At 30 by 40 inches, it carries warmth into a room without overwhelming it. Especially compelling in spaces that benefit from contrast, where cool architecture meets sun-driven color.
