Abstract Florals
18”H x 16”W
Mixed media on canvas
There is a certain immediacy to this piece, a bouquet that feels less arranged and more remembered. Painted in layered, expressive gestures, the composition moves between structure and release, where florals emerge, dissolve, and return again through color and motion.
I found this work nearly a decade ago and held onto it with the intention of living alongside it. Over time, it remained just out of reach, never quite landing in the right place, which now feels less like hesitation and more like clarity. Some works are meant to be kept, others are meant to be passed on. This is one of those pieces. It carries a sense of warmth, movement, and quiet abundance ready to find the space where it fully belongs.
