Some paintings ask to be studied. Others simply ask to be lived with. Confetti The Garden Remembered is inspired by those fleeting moments when color, light, and memory begin to blur together. Layers of soft blues, fresh greens, delicate blush, and touches of golden yellow emerge beneath hundreds of hand-painted marks, revealing the feeling of walking through a garden just after summer rain.
Rather than depicting a single flower or landscape, the painting captures the experience of abundance, the way a beautiful garden is remembered more as atmosphere than detail.
Kristen's Note I imagine this hanging in a bright family room or quiet sitting room where it catches changing light throughout the day. Like a bouquet of fresh hydrangeas, it brings freshness and optimism to a space, yet every time you pass it another color, another layer, another small discovery quietly appears.
