A bouquet that feels discovered rather than composed. In Line Drawn Flowers IV, Ricky Burrows allows color to move instinctively, petals emerging through repetition, gesture, and return. The vase anchors the composition while the lines remain playful, searching, and wonderfully alive.

Artist's marks from the studio remain visible throughout the surface, a quiet reminder that this work comes directly from a period of making, where process itself became part of the finished piece. Rather than hiding its history, the drawing celebrates it.

I imagine this hanging somewhere unexpected, a hallway, breakfast nook, or beside a favorite reading chair, where its joyful energy quietly brightens the room each day.
