Original still life painting inspired by Mediterranean coastal living, in saturated turquoise, cobalt, and sun-washed reds.
This painting captures a moment that feels both specific and suspended, a table set near the water, just after a meal, where time slows and light takes over.
Glass bottles, oysters, and scattered tomatoes sit across a patterned cloth, while classical forms rise in the background like distant memories of place. The composition moves between structure and looseness, precise objects softened by atmosphere, color doing as much storytelling as form.
The red sun hovers almost symbolically, less about time of day and more about feeling, warmth, fullness, the quiet hum of being somewhere beautiful without urgency. There is a sense of presence in the piece. Not staged, but lived in. A table that has just been left, or is about to be returned to.
A work that brings both narrative and color into a space, equally at home in a dining room, kitchen, or anywhere that gathers people.
