On The Cove narrows the landscape to a single stretch of light and land. A band of muted green holds the horizon steady while saturated yellow and soft coral move beneath it, brushed in with a kind of quiet urgency. The surface feels worked but not fussy, dragged, layered, allowed to remain imperfect. The tension between restraint and brightness is what gives it energy.
This piece reads like a fragment of something larger, a concentrated view that rewards proximity. Compelling in a grouping, confident enough to stand alone.
