Horizontal bands of blue and slate move across the surface in measured intervals, interrupted by flashes of yellow that cut through the calm. The composition feels pared back, a study in distance, light, and restraint. The marks are broad and unapologetic, left visible rather than refined away. Each layer sits beside the next without blending, allowing contrast to do the work.
Within the Current Collection, this piece leans toward reduction, how much can be said with very little. At 20 by 16 inches, it reads as precise and architectural, particularly strong in interiors that favor clarity over excess.
