Red Glaze Ceramic Vase
Forgotten Island
8.5"H × 9"D
A beautifully expressive vintage ceramic vase with a rounded silhouette and a remarkable glaze that moves between deep oxblood red, warm champagne, and soft metallic gold.
I love ceramics that reveal something different each time you look at them. The richly textured glaze has an almost painterly quality, with layers of color that seem to melt into one another, while the simple, generous shape allows the surface to become the main attraction.
This is the kind of vase that makes arranging flowers feel effortless. I particularly love it with sculptural foliage, soft blush blooms, and something unexpected for contrast. Equally beautiful without flowers, it would be wonderful on a console, dining table, or nestled among collected objects on a bookshelf.
Selected for Forgotten Island, my ongoing collection of objects worth rediscovering, because beautiful things deserve to be lived with, appreciated, and given another chapter.
