Sea Drifts

There are days by the water when the horizon nearly disappears and sea and sky become one continuous breath of color. Sea Drifts was painted from that feeling rather than from a particular place.

Broad, sweeping passages of pale blue and white move across the canvas like shifting tide, softened by translucent layers that create a quiet sense of depth and atmosphere. The painting doesn't ask to be noticed immediately. Instead, it slowly reveals itself, offering the calm rhythm of water, light, and open air.

This work is part of my ongoing exploration of simplicity, discovering how few marks are needed to evoke a feeling rather than describe a landscape. It is an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember the restorative stillness found only beside the sea.
