Painted following a summer spent in New York City, these companion works capture the feeling of light reflecting between buildings, open sky appearing unexpectedly at the end of a street, and the quiet moments that exist beneath the city's constant movement.

Working with a restrained palette of cobalt blue, soft grey, white, and deep navy, the compositions balance expressive gesture with intentional restraint. Rather than depicting the city itself, they explore its atmosphere, spacious yet energetic, architectural yet deeply personal.

While each painting stands comfortably on its own, together they create a larger visual rhythm, each responding to the other through color, scale, and movement.
