The Garden Beckons is a richly organic painting built through layers of deep greens, blues, and soft washes of light minty blues. Sweeping gestures of the brush move across the canvas like tangled vines, leaves, and shadows, creating a sense of growth and movement that feels both spontaneous and alive.
Part of a series exploring these colors and forms, the painting reflects my ongoing fascination with the natural rhythms of gardens, the way plants gather, reach, and intertwine in unexpected ways. The composition builds slowly through gesture and layering, allowing each mark to respond to the last. The result is a painting that feels lush, immersive, and full of energy.
