A Simple Favor Part I unfolds in layered terra cotta tones and softened blush, interrupted by deep teal arcs and blue swaths that move with intention rather than impulse. A restrained red line travels through the surface, introducing tension without destabilizing the composition.
This piece carries a sense of compression, forms leaning into one another, the space held tightly. It feels decisive, but not rigid. Though painted alongside Part II, it stands independently, contained, resolved, and confident in its own cadence.
