This week I am celebrating 13 years of the gallery. Such an interesting portion of my life here with all of you making and creating work, sharing inspirations and ideas and attempting to live my most extraordinary life as soon as possible. There’s so much in the gallery I just simply have not been able to get online - text 401 684-0211

You can shop here,

see some available work here

and of course a whole bunch of Forgotten Island here

Softest, most cozy, lightweight sweatshirt of all time

I’ve been batching out a new series I’ve started on Instagram “Artist + Curator Unhinged Ideas for My Gallery And Beyond” as a way to not only answer some of the questions I get regularly but also to expand on the very cool conversations I find myself in at the gallery. I have some very fun and even Unusual anecdotes I’ll be sharing this coming week so don’t miss out! You can find here on my IG Reels page.

Speaking of which - I hope you like seeing me because I’m the star, and only, employee at the gallery. After a time of piecing together schedules that don’t make sense and wrestling with a work and life balance and simply feeling the urge to be the face of my gallery for this moment, however long it lasts! Im here for it. And yes that might mean fewer open hours and definitely irregular, but you have my number and I welcome you to let me know when you plan to come by so I can make a point of it to be there.

A few things inspiring (or oddly interesting) me this week.

Modì, Three Days on the Wing of Madness - not sure how I missed this but I’m watching this weekend even with the horrific reviews. They’ve opened the Siene for swimming in Paris. Le Paysan by JACQUEMUS, toujours. My friend Tom O'Connor created the new bio-absorption garden at Marble House (this is who does our landscape design). Italy has reduced sales tax on art from 22% to 5%. Hoping they take a page from RI and get to no sales tax. This stunning villa in cap d’antibes. The Rotunda of the Bourse de Commerce. And I have incredible mixed feelings about this.

Happy weekend from our family to yours! XO Kristen

If you’re enjoying these notes, I’d love for you to share them. Forward this to a friend who might like to follow along. Expanding this circle through friends of friends is my favorite kind of growth.
